7.How to Use Google Keep
Most usable features
1.Create or edit a note
Creating note in Google keep is very easy just tap the plus icon and start writing
2.Add Label and organized
You can add a label to a note by tapping the three-dot menu icon in the top-left corner of the app’s editing screen and selecting ” Create Labels“
Here you can also edit the label by clicking the edit option
3.Get colorful
After adding a label, Keep lets you organize notes by “color“. Maybe all of your work-related notes are yellow and your personal notes are green or maybe urgent notes are red while all others are gray.
colour coding helps to arrange your notes in a simple way.
4.Search your note easily
Quickly capture what’s on your mind, the “Keep search function” can do a lot more than just looking for basic text. Tap the search box at the top of the app’s main screen, to understand see the below attachment.
5.Put a pin in it
Keep your most important notes easily accessible by Keep’s ” pin function“, Just tap the pushpin icon at the top of the note while editing a note or after selecting it in your main note list. That note will then appear above all your other notes .
6. Set reminders to any note
When you need to remember to look at a note at a particular time or even place — like your office, your home,— just tap the bell icon in the upper tab. The reminder will also appear in Google Calendar as well as in the “Updates” tab of the Google Android app, note should pop up as a notification on your phone
7. Taking-Note
Take a note on the go by “speaking” it into Keep and letting the app transcribe your words. You can start recording, tap the microphone icon ,tap the plus icon in the lower-left corner and then select “Recording”

You can “Insert image”, tap the image icon ,tap the plus icon in the lower-left corner and then select “image icon”

If you’re using an older Android version Than go to the app’s settings and change to” Dark mode”. In android 10 and 11 no need to change the app setting, it automatically matches your device’s Dark Theme setting
10.Collaboration and integration
On the home screen of google keep tap 3 dots on the right bottom corner and select Collaborator.
If Collaborator is not able then go to the app’s setting option and enable sharing option.
Start typing the Gmail address and person’s name, and Keep will show you a list of suggestions from your contacts as you type.
If you want to add more collaborators, just keep entering names or Gmail addresses as needed.
Once Collaborator added then you both can update notes anytime, anywhere?
11.Switch accounts with ease
If you are using a Google account, it is very easy to switch from one account to another. Tap your profile icon in the upper-right corner of the app and you can add a new account to your phone. If you have already added another Google Account, just choose a second Google Account.
8.Security FAQ
Google Keep note doesn’t offer any meaningful security measures, so your notes will be as secure as your Google account. Vast most of the users won’t experience any issues, but it’s still a good idea to enable two-factor authentication in your google keep account settings.
The software also doesn’t give users the option to set password protections. Consider all these things, Google itself is a secure platform. It offers reasonable privacy, but it might not be the best place to store truly sensitive information, like your social or security password number.

Google considers the default language of your phone as your language, if you want to write in any other language, then you can change your language by going to your phone’s settings and at the same time change the Google keyboard as well. Do it in the language you want, then you can easily type in any language in Google Keep
